New research has looked at the most expensive and the cheapest parking options across the city - from free car parks at The Quays to £11 for two hours at the SECC.

Glasgow's cheapest parking option outside of car parks costs £4.64 for two hours and £9.40 for four hours, according to new research.

It found there are 24,108 parking spaces in Glasgow, with only 24 of those offering electric charging points. On average, it will cost you £105.86 to park on a driveway for the month. The SECC has 1,600 parking spaces, while George Street has 274 available spaces. Glasgow Central Station and Mitchell Street will cost you £7.90 for two hours of parking, and Concert Square will cost you £6 for two hours in one of their 592 spaces.
