The 78 on Kelvinhaugh Street is a Finnieston institution that has been serving up popular vegan fare for 16 years.A spokesperson for the restaurant shared the news on social media.

They advised that March would be the last month for fans to eat at The 78 before they shut down the kitchen to focus on being a"cosy" pub."We’ve always been known for our cute little pub vibes in the heart of Finnieston and we’re changing to really focus on becoming a fantastic free house pub to make us the best place to come drink in the West End."We know that a lot of you have and do love the food at The 78.

"We’re incredibly proud of the work we’ve put into our dishes since 2007 but maintaining our food offer isn't sustainable with so many increasing costs."If you love to eat here, we’d definitely suggest getting a visit in before the end of the month."We'll be keeping a selection full of delicious alcohol beverages.
