Glasgow city centre restaurant, El Camino has confirmed its immediate closure after less than a year of trading.
Located on Waterloo Street, the late-night Mexican bar and restaurant was an instant hit with locals when it opened in December last year. The Waterloo Chambers venue was well-received by local residents for its affordability and especially for its £1 tacos which went down a storm.It is unclear why the restaurant has closed but Glasgow Live understands that the owners, who also own El Jefe's, will be keeping the remainder of their restaurants open for business.One person said: "We loved it here. Their taco’s and mango slushy was amazing.
