8D Music And Video Studio lets users create their own song using a pre-loaded selection of music samples and instrument parts.
Scots who have always dreamed of pop stardom can now record and release their own music with a brand new app.
The software was created by Glasgow producer Andy Anderson, who has been a part of the city's thriving music scene for several years. Explaining the inspiration behind the app, the 35-year-old said: “Producing or making music is hard – it takes years of work, investment and effort and it can be really frustrating.
Andy worked with his brother Frankie, an app developer, to create the software. The layout is designed to be simple and easy to use, allowing people to become artists and producers in their own right in a matter of minutes.
