A pair of 'cheeky mares' were caught by police after wandering the streets in the early hours on Thursday, October 5.

"These two cheeky mares escaped their paddock and were found wondering along the Glasgow & Edinburgh Road, Salsburgh. After a wee "clap" behind the ears, they agreed to come quietly."
