With searches for Tinder increasing by 100% over the past month, some singles are looking for an end of year romance for the festive period - and according to a new study, Glasgow might be the place to do it.

As we quickly approach 2023, singles up and down the country may be looking for romance - and Glasgow could be the place to do it.

According to the study, Christmas is the loneliest day for single Brits - beating out Valentine’s Day. Though not all hope is lost, as we’re set up pretty well here in Glasgow for finding someone to spend the festive period.Cambridge got first place in the study, with a 9.17 out of 10 score for dating app users. They also had a score of 7.92 when it came to dating events - giving them a ‘final romance’ score of 8.55.
