Emergency services are still on the scene
A section of the M8 westbound carriageway in Glasgow has closed following a multi-vehicle collision including a lorry which has overturned and blocked two lanes.Emergency services rushed to the scene on the busy road and are currently still in attendance.Road Policing Scotland have confirmed on social media that there is an overturned lorry blocking both lanes 2 and 3.They tweeted: "The #M8 West at Junction 13 is currently closed due to a multi vehicle RTC.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7.35am on Thursday, 20 April, police were called to a report of a road crash on the M8 westbound, near J13. The carriageway is closed and officers are at the scene.
