The council will only be continuing essential services on Monday.
Glasgow City Council has said that essential services will continue on Monday but other services will close. While cleansing operations for parks and street bins will go ahead as planned, there will be no domestic pick-ups.
“Our focus will be on providing essential services to ensure vulnerable citizens receive support and the city remains safe. “Any funeral already confirmed with the council’s bereavement services for September 19 will go ahead as scheduled.
