A resident reported seeing six police cars and two ambulances at the scene 😟
A busy street in the city centre was taped off in the early hours this morning as a huge emergency service response reportedly raced to the scene. Multiple police cars and ambulances were spotted on Bell Street, in the Merchant City area.
The incident is believed to have taken place around midnight with the street cordoned off. Pictures show the cordon has now been lifted while police remain at the scene. A resident reported seeing six police cars and two ambulances arrive with the road still believed to be closed.They told GlasgowLive: "I saw six police cars and two ambulances. Bell street looks to be still closed. There are still some police cars over there. The ambulance left with sirens on at around 1.30am.We have contacted Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance service for a comment.
