The Scottish Ambulance Service said it dispatched an ambulance, paramedic response unit, and trauma team after the alarm was raised on Tuesday afternoon.
Police have locked down a Glasgow street after a woman was struck by a car. Emergency crews were alerted to the incident in the city centre at around 2.40pm on Tuesday. Police Scotland said the woman was hit on Wellington Street. Part of the street has been taped off, as has Wellington Lane. A number of emergency vehicles are currently at the scene, including police cars and fire engines.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: 'We are currently in attendance alongside emergency service partners at an incident on Wellington Lane, Glasgow.'
