Meadowpark Centre has asked for help from the public to create enough parcels for families in need this Christmas

A Glasgow charity creating food parcels for families this Christmas has said the supplies can be the "difference between being able to eat or not amid the cost of living crisis.

The charity is asking for donations from members of the public, with contributions in the form of dried food, canned foods, cereals, and baby food/products most needed.Project coordinator Aileen Wilson told Glasgow Live : "We’ve found an increase in people we would not expect that have had to rely on food parcels. Sometimes people just can’t afford to eat
