Glasgow Airport workers have secured a wage increase, Unite has announced.

Unite has announced ground services crew employed by Menzies Aviation at the airport have accepted a new one-year pay deal.Over 200 workers including dispatches, allocators, airside agents and controllers accepted the offer.

Unite general secretary Sharon Graham said: “Unite has secured a wage deal which yet again significantly boosts the working environment of Menzies Aviation workers. Pat McIlvogue, Unite industrial officer, added: “Unite delivers time after time for our Menzies Aviation members."There is also improved access to the company sick pay scheme.
