We can't believe he is 70! 😲

Viewers of the '90s gameshow, Gladiators, may remember watching Michael Van Wijk as the ferocious Wolf. Now, the 70-year-old is passing the torch to his son, Dean, who will be starring in the new series - which is set to be filmed in Sheffield.

Speaking to Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway on Good Morning Britain today, Michael said: "To be honest with you and I'm being perfectly honest with you, I could do all the games comfortably and any new ones they had." Though an exact air date has not yet been confirmed, the new series is thought to be premiering next year. It will be at the new home of Sheffield's Utilita Arena, instead of its original home which was the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham.
