Tournament continues next weekend at Cameron Bowl in Glace Bay
The Glace Bay McDonalds Colonels will host the Nova Scotia Major Little League Championship at Cameron Bowl in Glace Bay over the next two weekends. The tournament begins today. On Sunday, Glace Bay edged Sydney 4-3. The Sooners led the game 3-2 in the bottom of the sixth inning, before the Colonels replied to score two runs to take the lead and never look back. The winner of the Canadian title will move on to play in the Little League World Series, which will be held Aug. 17-28 in Williamsport, Pa.
