There was some star power for the Ottawa Sun Scramble during a wet Tuesday at eQuinelle Golf Club.
Giroux and Quinn had birdies on holes 2, 4, 5 and 6 on the front, sitting at 32 at the turn. They birdied 10, 15 and 16 on the back in a bogey-free round.Article content
“It’s just a lot of fun being a teammate out there and competing together,” said Quinn, who grew up playing at Whitetail Golf Club. “We had fun trying to go low.” Before the round, they set a target of 6-under, thinking that would make the cut. And now, it’s on to compete for a championship.
