Drivetec becomes part of Mattawa truck company Oct. 1
Gincor Werx, a Mattawa truck and trailer manufacturer, has acquired Drivetec Manufacturing, which makes truck parts out of its Sudbury shop.Drivetec specializes in servicing hydraulics, drivelines, suspension systems, and vehicle alterations, as well as the distribution of key components to the truck and trailer industry.
“We are pleased to have this new group of employees to be part of the Gincor Werx family. Over the course of the next several weeks, we will be working closely with the team at Drivetec to begin integration. We will continue to operate ‘business-as-usual’ while leveraging each other’s strengths. Since 1978, Gincor Werx has manufactured vocational trucks and specialized trailers for use in construction, municipal, and other industries from its headquarters in the Town of Mattawa, east of North Bay.
