Orlando Pirates winger Gilberto has returned to his former club, Petro de Luanda, on loan for the remainder of the season. The South African club has also announced a new concept to encourage early arrivals at this weekend's Soweto derby against Kaizer Chiefs.

Orlando Pirates winger Gilberto has returned to his former club, Petro de Luanda, on loan for the remainder of the season. The 23-year-old Angolan joined the Buccaneers seven months ago but struggled to adapt and secure regular playing time. Gilberto expressed his excitement about returning to a familiar environment, stating, 'I'm back home, a home I know very well and it's to make things happen. The adaptation was a little bit difficult and I also lacked opportunity.

It's a house (de Luanda) that I know and knows my capabilities. We will give our everything to achieve everything.' Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates are gearing up for this weekend's highly anticipated Soweto derby against Kaizer Chiefs. To enhance the matchday experience and encourage early arrivals, the club has introduced a new concept - a vibrant beer garden located opposite Gate M at FNB Stadium. This festive atmosphere will feature music, celebrations, and a fun-filled environment for fans. The beer garden will open at 11h30 exclusively to ticket holders, with performances powered by the SAB Gig Rig and state-of-the-art sound systems concluding at 14h30. A wide selection of SAB beverages will be available at R40 per 500ml can, with cash and card payments accepted. Ample seating under Carling Black Label umbrellas will provide a comfortable space for fans to unwind and connect
