have traded defensive lineman Leonard Williams to Seattle, let’s take a look at general manager Joe Schoen’s updated 2024 NFL Draft pick rundown.
Schoen has one pick in Round 1, and now two in Round 2. He has one each in Rounds 3-6, and then nothing in Round 7. Schoen doesn’t have a 2024 seventh-rounder because he traded it to the Cardinals for inside linebacker Isaiah Simmons. Still, it’s extra ammo for Schoen, which he clearly needs. This was a smart trade, since there was pretty much no way Schoen was going to retain Williams, a pending free agent, past 2023.
