Isaiah Hodgins still is the best thing to come to the Giants out of Brian Daboll’s and Joe Schoen’s inside knowledge of the Bills’ roster.
Claimed off of waivers last November, Hodgins became quarterback Daniel Jones’ No. 1 target during the second half of last season and had a team-high 108 receiving yards during the wild-card victory at Minnesota.
Hodgins has 10 catches for 107 yards and one touchdown — the only one scored by a Giants receiver — in five games this season. He was stuck behind the Bills’ Stefon Diggs for the first two-plus seasons of his career. Isaiah Hodgins, pictured during the 2021 season, was drafted by the Bills in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.Offensive tackle Yodny Cajuste’s first practice after signing to the practice squad was Wednesday.
Cajuste said he was training at home for a couple weeks and is “all good now” after he was cut by the Jets with an injury designation in August.“I’m used to everything being run here,” Cajuste said.
