South Africa suffered a 2-0 away loss to Ghana in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

Ghana were in charge from the first whistle scoring two goals on either side of the break during the Group C encounter, which took place at the Cape Coast Stadium.Thomas Partey opened the scoring in the 35th minute with Mohammed Kudus completing ensuring the win for the Black Stars in the 79th minute.There will be little breathing space for the 1996 champions with the next qualifier taking place on Sunday against Sudan.
