The murder trial of Nafiz Modack and others resumed on Monday with testimony on the dramatic events leading up to the attempted murder of Cape Town lawyer William Booth.One theory put forward by the first witness, Mr A, was that Booth represented Modack's rival Donkie Booysen , and the other is that it was because Booth represented an asset manager being hounded by a disgruntled investor.
