Get back to nature without giving up your creature comforts at new designer eco-lodges 📍 On the edge of a farm in the Welsh wilderness – yet just three miles from the tourist hub of Hay-on-Wye

– a cluster of four woodland eco-pods on the outskirts of Hay-on-Wye with views of the Wye Valley. Now they’ve taken their luxury UK offering to the next level with three new luxe lodges alongside the pods. With a focus on being family-friendly, each lodge includes two huge double bedrooms, a decking area with private hot tub, secluded fire pit and even a secret toy den under the stairs.Location

The real selling point here is that while inside your lodge looking out, it feels like you are miles out in the wilderness with nothing but meadows and skies for days. But you can actually walk to a cafe/bar within just 10 minutes, or drive to Hay-on-Wye in less than 15. The two bedrooms upstairs are beyond huge – as is the super king-size bed in the master – and the funky pink wallpaper in the downstairs toilet is worth a mention all of its own.

Outside, we made use of the grill attachment to barbecue steak and sausages over the fire pit. Again, you will find all the required accessories – including a marshmallow tree and even the marshmallows – on hand.
