High court ruling led to animal being destroyed after twice testing positive for bovine TB at Gloucestershire farm
A four-year battle to save the life of Geronimo the alpaca has failed.In a statement, Defra said Geronimo was moved from the farm in Wickwar, Gloucestershire, on Tuesday and “euthanised” by staff from the Animal and Plant Health Agency as a “necessary measure to control the spread of bovine tuberculosis ”.
