The agent of a fringe Mamelodi Sundowns player has commented on his client's situation at the club, with seven days left before the deadline for the DStv Premiership champions to exercise the option in his contract. Maluleka's two-year contract with the Chloorkop outfit is due to expire at the end of June, but Sundowns have an option to extend the contract for another season.
At this point, however, Sundowns are yet to express a desire to keep the former Kaizer Chiefs player, but representative Sean Roberts says they are not worried just yet. "Nothing's changed. Sundowns have been given until the end of May to take up his option. There is no concern as Sundowns have every right to let us know the last day of May. It's in the contract, in terms of taking on the option. There's no concern regarding George. He is an out-an-out professional.
