After Geneva County's boys' basketball coach resigned, the girls' basketball coach resigned, too.
HARTFORD, Ala. - Not too long after Geneva County’s boys’ basketball coach resigned, the girls’ varsity coach, alumna Lacy Holmes, put in a letter of resignation to the board, too.Holmes coached the Bulldogs for two seasons, making it to the final four in her first year.
She said, “In regard to my resignation, I plan to take steps away from coaching to spend more time with my kids and family.
