Gemma Atkinson appeared to be feeling a little emotional as she was flooded with messages after sharing a 'first' with her fiance Gorka Marquez. The Hits Radio host and Strictly Come Dancing star have appeared in their first reality show together with the first episode airing on Wednesday night .
Bury-born Gemma also spoke about her first 'traumatic' birth as she prepared for Thiago's arrival, which came on July 17. "Mia’s birth was scary. It ended in emergency c-section and postpartum haemorrhage," she told the cameras. "The staff at this hospital genuinely saved both our lives. Gemma recalled being told that because of the high-risk situation, she was handed a form about ‘blood transfusions’ and asked who would be saved. "If one of us had to be saved, which one would it be," she said.
