EBRC has also been directed to seek to keep the average size of GRCs, the proportion of MPs elected from SMCs, and the average ratio of electors to elected MPs, all at about the same as that in the last General Election. Any person who, as of Feb 1, is a Singapore citizen, 21 years of age and above, not disqualified from being an elector under any prevailing law, and has a Singapore residential address or a local contact address registered with the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority for voting purposes will be included in the Register of Electors for an electoral division.
