GBV epidemic: Murdered woman lived in fear of ex-boyfriend eNCA
The 32-year-old mother of two, Thokozile Kubheka, was found dead in the home she shared with him in Katlehong.The only things Thokozile Kubheka’s family have left are memories, pictures and videos of her.
In a WhatsApp voice note, she sent to a friend a few weeks ago – she was complaining about the abuse she’d endured. "He went to my mother’s house and he bought petrol and said he wants to burn the house because he thought I was inside. The guy is crazy, my friend. But we found him and he is in jail now”.
