Fans of the Great British Bake Off were left in awe on Sunday night after celebrity contestant David Schwimmer scooped the coveted Star Baker title after winning every single task
The Great British Bake Off kicked off with a bang on Sunday night, as the popular Channel 4 baking show returned with a brand new celebrity series in order to raise funds for Stand Up To Cancer.
Yet after 60 minutes of nail biting baking in which David won every single challenge, it came as no surprise when the sitcom star bagged the coveted title of Star Baker at the end of the show, and walked away with his very own Stand Up To Cancer apron in recognition of his impressive culinary skills.
Meanwhile a third soon penned: “What!? David Schwimmer won this celebrity Bake Off in a clean sweep: Paul handshake, Technical, and Star Baker! What?!” Even GBBO themselves got in on the action, as they hilariously wrote: "The one where David Schwimmer entered the Bake Off Tent and walked away with a Hollywood Handshake and Star Baker,” in a direct nod to the episode titles of his hit sitcom Friends.
