JOHN'S, N.L. — The young man who had racist and homophobic slurs yelled at him and his partner as they were relaxing in a park in Conception Bay South says he now knows who the man is.The video went viral Wednesday, Aug. 17, after U.S. social media influencer Micheal McWhorter posted it on TikTok.
“Me and my boyfriend were in the park and I was laying in his lap reading my book,” Jacob told The Telegram Thursday.Jacob says they have no idea why he said it, since both of them are Caucasian, but the incident escalated from there after he pulled out his cellphone and started recording.In his version of the video, Tizzy bleeped out what the man said next, but the inserted caption read “You’re a f----- Liberal.
