Research shows that on average Gauteng residents use 300 litres of water daily, nearly twice the global average of 173 litres.

Gauteng’s 15 million residents, whose average daily water consumption is almost double the global average, urgently need to start changing their habits.

This is contained in a vital blueprint given to the Gauteng government to ensure the province and its residents are water secure.
