JOHANNESBURG - The African National Congress in Gauteng has now set its sights on the City of Tshwane as it prepares to reclaim the mayoral chains in the municipality.
The ANC in Gauteng has begun negotiating with other political parties in a bid to establish a solid coalition that will remove the Democratic Alliance from power in the capital city. However, with Herman Mashaba’s organisation now working with the ANC in Johannesburg, there are suggestions that the relationship might boil down to the City of Tshwane.
