Both Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates have been linked with a move to Gaston Sirino who is now training closer to both of their camps!
Chiefs and Pirates have both signed three senior players as it stands, and there is clearly an appetite for more.
. The two clubs are both reportedly still on the market with both sides maybe overlapping with targets. star was one of a whole host of players released by the Brazilians last season. The Uruguayan briefly returned home after his release but was swiftly back in the country. That as a clear sign that he is eyeing another club in the local football topflight.
Pirates are a team that was the first to show interest in Sirino. This during the period where he was seemingly unsettled at Sundowns. The player was also flirting with a move to Al Ahly during that time, with former coach Pitso Mosimane there. A move to the Buccaneers did not materialise nor did one to the Egyptian giants.
Chiefs have also been credited with an interest in Sirino. It was reported that they were hoping he would leave Sundowns so they can get him on a free. Now that he has left, the needle doesn’t seem to have moved. In fact, most recently, he was linked to Pirates again, with the Buccaneers reportedly talking to his representatives. Now it looks like both Chiefs and Pirates won’t struggle if they want to sign Sirino.
