Gary Neville believes media coverage of Anthony Martial hasn't been harsh enough as he slammed the Manchester United striker.
United are unsure whether they plan to extend Martial's contract beyond next summer, given he has scored just 18 goals in three years and has not completed 90 minutes of Premier League football since January 2021. “The failings of the football department and recruitment is just absolutely incredible. They're human beings at the end of the day and no one wants to go on the pitch, play badly and not achieve their standards. Nobody wants to be injured. Former United striker Andy Cole agreed with Neville that he is not the man to take Ten Hag's side forward.
