However, since the lopsided victory, which saw Na Gaeil Aercha’s beating Na Fianna, the LGFA is working on the development of a new policy regarding transgender athletes at matches. Sports writer Ewan MacKenna first tweeted about Valentino, noting how unsafe it could be for a biological male to compete against women.
“Respect a lot of what @NaGaeilAeracha do, but this is absurd and actually dangerous,” he tweeted. “They’d [put] a biological adult male against 16-year-old-girls?
