BELLE HARBOR, Queens -- Family, friends and thousands of fellow firefighters will say goodbye to FDNY Firefighter Timothy Klein today.
The funeral service gets underway at 11 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Church in Belle Harbor, Queens. Up to 20,000 people are expected to attend. Live coverage of the funeral will be streamed here on abc7ny.com and on our ABC New York streaming apps beginning at 10:45 a.m. The NYPD alerts motorists that because of the funeral service there will be no vehicle traffic allowed through virtually all of Belle Harbor.
Roads will be closed from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m., so police are advising driver to allow extra time if you have to be in the area.
