He passed away aged 88 after a short illness.
Following thethe Archdiocese of Glasgow announced that the Requiem Mass for Archbishop Emeritus Conti will be held at Saint Andrew's Cathedral on Friday, November 18 at 12 noon.
As a large number of his family, friends and representatives of parishes are expected to attend, there will be no seats available in the Cathedral for members of the public at the Requiem Mass.
