Family members have left loving messages this week to relatives who have passed away
Announcing the death of a family member has been a time-honoured tradition for family and loved ones. We have gathered the messages posted this week in one place.
Jack previously worked as a salesperson/driver for Holland’s Pies in Baxenden. His past interests included golf. He was a Budgerigar fancier/breeder and he also showed them in competitions. He enjoyed playing bingo, loved greyhound racing and horse racing. Gerry was company director at Ultra Litho in Oswaldtwistle. He was a life-long Burnley fan. He will be greatly missed.
Even after retirement Joan continued to look after others. Joan’s only interest was her family and devotion to her children. “Mum, you will always be in our hearts and never forgotten, from all your children and grandchildren, we love you.” Loving wife to Norman, she was a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. A private service and committal will be held, close family flowers only. Donations to RNLI.Funeral director: Dawn Winfield for Fred Hamer Funeral Service
