Seven candidates are up against each other to win the Belfast North seat in the upcoming UK General Election.
Belfast North is a constituency with a nationalist majority. Historically, it had a narrow unionist majority, which has decreased over time. The Belfast North constituency contains 14 wards of Belfast City Council and five wards of Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council. In the 2024 UK General Election, the seven candidates running in Belfast North are from Sinn Féin, DUP, TUV, People Before Profit, Alliance, Green Party, and SDLP.
