50 Stanlow oil refinery workers set to walk out in row over pay
Tanker drivers supplying aviation fuel to Liverpool John Lennon Airport are set to walk out on strike.
The Unite union said workers are angry that their pay offer is significantly lower than their colleagues in other parts of the country. The workers deliver fuel from the Stanlow oil terminal to Shell, BP and Esso forecourts predominantly across the North West and Scottish borders, as well as to airlines, including to Jet2 at Liverpool airport.
