They were on a trip to Cheticamp, where both Angie and Amber are from and had stopped at a Tim Hortons. Sitting across the booth from them, Georgia took Amber and Angie's hands and brought them together. By November, they started dating discreetly, hiding their relationship from many for a couple of months.

Youden, Amber's best person in the ceremony, made the suggestion. The wedding was being held in Amber and Angie's backyard and there were strict gathering limits due to COVID-19 restrictions. In August 2021, the second transfer attempt was done and successful and the twins were born in April 2022.
