Swift is an affordable, high-end training program for kids that focuses on sports performance. What sets Swift apart is its individualized approach to training within a group setting.
Created by Bartlome -- who has a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Ashland University and is an all-American high jumper -- the Swift program launches next month and is designed to cater to every youngster’s unique needs and progression.
“The Y philosophy is ‘Sport for all, sport for fun,’ and we are looking to keeping that going so we do not overburden children at the higher level,” she said.“We do not believe in winning at all costs, but being involved and enjoying family involvement. We don’t really care about the score, but we do care about maintaining a love of sport throughout a lifetime.”
“That is what we try to teach children. It is more important that they are playing and participating in the correct way,” she said.
