Sergeant Palesa Thabana said the woman told the police that she was at a tavern in Meloding with her boyfriend on Saturday, November 30 at 2am when they were approached by an unknown man who asked to talk privately with her boyfriend.
She went on to say that her boyfriend returned and grabbed her forcibly before reportedly beating her. Emer-G-Med spokesperson, Kyle van Reenen said emergency services staff were told about the shooting after 2pm.
