Former Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is being considered for the coaching position of the Canadian national team ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The 45-year-old has been a free agent since his interim stint with the Blues came to an end last campaign.Lampard could now be returning to management but on the international stage after being linked a with to the Canadian national team.
Canada have been without a permanent head coach since John Herdman resigned from his post last year, with Mauro Biello taking over on an interim basis. While Lampard played in North America during the end of his career, he has only coached in England with Chelsea, Everton and Derby County in the Championship.
