Around 42,000 protesters have taken to the streets of Paris over the planned pension reforms today, police have told France 24.

Demonstrators opposing President Emmanuel Macron’s unpopular plan to raise the retirement age to 64 marched in a final show of anger before a decision is made tomorrow.
