Four people were 'thrown' from a motor after a horror incident in East Kilbride.

999 crews raced to Crookedshields Road in the town shortly before 9pm on Sunday, June 2, after being made aware of the smash.In total, two fire trucks were sent to the scene where firefighters discovered that a car had hit a tree.According to the fire service, four people were 'thrown' from the vehicle after it crashed, while one person remained trapped inside it.

“Operations control mobilised two appliances to the scene and on arrival firefighters found that a car had collided with a tree. Four casualties had been thrown from the vehicle, whilst one person remained trapped.
