Back then, they sat outside Morandi on a warm June night. “We finished two bottles of wine and closed the place down,” Jenna remembers. “We’ve been inseparable ever since!”
From day one of wedding planning, Jenna and Aubrey were adamant about having a private family ceremony in a space that felt casual and simple. “The whole thing was pretty DIY, and I would have had it no other way,” she says. “We ordered the rug, the planters, and the chuppah on Etsy!” The bride even picked out her flowers, including pink peonies for her bouquet, the day before the wedding at the Chelsea Flower Market.
The Jewish ceremony, which was held in the upstairs outdoor garden at Bobo, was warm, intimate, and most importantly, done exactly the way the couple wanted. Thankfully, there was a retractable roof, because it rained all morning—“That’s good luck, I’m told,” the bride says.
