Hamilton Police reported Sunday that a man in his 60s was found dead in a residence at Brockton Apartments, at 175 Catharine St. S. with “injuries consistent with foul play, and the case was deemed a homicide.”
Teenage Head’s most recent lineup consisted of Lewis and bassist Steve Mahon, along with newer recruits Gene Champagne on drums and singer Dave “Rave” Desroches.Kerr’s sister told the Sun she has been “deeply affected by Lewis’s death. “Many highs and lows would transpire, accidents, lost record deals, bad management, riots, bad press. But they kept going, brothers in arms, ’til one brother, mine, put his mic down forever and left this world. At the time it was the worst thing that had happened, but we healed and held onto to his memory and his music. And now the senseless, horrible and sad news.”
