The Fort Worth Independent School District has a new superintendent. Dr. Angelica Ramsey was officially hired Tuesday during a special board meeting.

Fort Worth ISD officially has a new superintendent.

"Visiting schools on my first day, that's what I said I was going to do. That's how I lead and that's how we're starting to hear from our teachers to talk to our students to start having those conversations in an informal setting so we can build trust," she said.
