Fort Hare killings: Slow start to trial as 12 accused apply for bail
Drama unfolded in the Dimbaza Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday when the defence teams of 12 people accused of criminal activity at the University of Fort Hare, argued their clients were wrongfully arrested and needed to be freed.
Appearing in court on Wednesday, the 12 accused entered the dock after two of their co-accused were released on bail on Tuesday and a third suspect, Isaac Plaatjies, abandoned his bail bid at the same time.South Africans need to be in the know if we want to create a prosperous future.
